Program Objectives:
-Provide standardized academic content for real estate studies.
-Equip students with academic needs in the fields of land planning and development, related laws, marketing sciences, valuation, and real estate property management.
-Prepare highly competent graduates in real estate development, which has seen increased demand in recent decades to keep pace with the comprehensive urban renaissance in the Kingdom.
Program Options:
Option 1: Real Estate Development (Thesis System).
Option 2: Real Estate Development (Coursework System).
Admission Requirements:
In addition to meeting the admission requirements in the Unified Regulations for Graduate Studies in Saudi Universities and the rules and executive procedures at King Saud University, the department requires:
-Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in urban planning, urban design, architecture (with a GPA of at least 3.75, "Very Good"), or other related engineering fields (with a GPA of at least 3.75, "Very Good") to be eligible for the program.
-Passing a personal interview.
-Submitting a research proposal in the field.
Degree Requirements:
Thesis System: 31 credit units of graduate courses plus 6 units for the thesis.
Coursework System: 42 credit units of graduate courses, including a research project worth at least three units.
